           Kuala Lumpur Golden Triangle is easily one of the most well-known metropolises in the world. Located in the South-East Asian country of Malaysia, this tropical state has seen some of the most unique mixture of modernization and richness of heritage and culture.

Over at its 86th floor, visitors can grace the observation deck and be mesmerized by the sprawling beauty that is Kuala Lumpur’s landscape. If you are the adventurous type and height isn’t a fear to you, walk on over to the sky bridge and look at Kuala Lumpur at over 170 metres above ground level.

Shop ‘til you drop


Shopping malls and centres are jammed everywhere within this area. Seek luxury goods at the infamous Suria KLCC where you can find international luxury brands such as the likes of Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada and more. If you are in for the bargain, head over to Bukit Bintang where you will be spoilt for choice at the amazingly low priced items.

Within the Kuala Lumpur Golden Triangle area as well lies Petaling Street. Also known as the Chinatown of the area, there isn’t anything you can’t buy. You’d be pleased to know how dirt cheap the items sold are priced at, as a bargain hunter’s heaven, it is even better to visit it at night where it transforms into an even livelier night market.

Fishes in the city


It is not every day that we get to be up close and as personal as possible with aquatic animals. One of the crowd favourite attractions in the area as well is the huge Aquaria KLCC. This mammoth aquarium is located at the basement of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, set in Basement Level 1 & Basement Level 2.

There is never a time that the aquarium is empty, it is simply the hotspot for families to have a great bonding time together. With over 5,000 different types of aquatic animals to see, rest assured that you’ll need to set aside at least a couple of hours to fully explore the gigantic aquarium. Watching fishes isn’t the only thing for you to do here, technology is fully integrated in the multimedia kiosks present all along the aquarium, giving you a richer experience. Open from 11AM to 8PM daily, it would be a great thing to wrap your way around the “Kuala Lumpur Golden Triangle” area at the Aquaria.

The Nightlife


There are many places to spend your nights away within the Kuala Lumpur Golden Triangle area. Over in Changkat Bukit Bintang is where you can find some of the best spots to have a quick drink and enjoy mixing around with the locals.

If you enjoy a good live performance, head over to No Black Tie. Having had a reputable name as one of Kuala Lumpur’s leading jazz bar, many of the local prominent names in music has graced the bar, performing their souls out. Once a month, the bar hosts an event where a line-up of up-and-coming local artists and bands get to perform their own materials to the audiences, you’d appreciate the amount of talented individuals that comes up on stage and the stuff they have to show.

If you are looking for a more relaxed and old feel, head over to The Green Man Pub. The pub is located in an abandoned pre-war terraced house, giving it the looks of a typical British pub with a bar and pool table. The pub isn’t focused on being energetic and lively, it instead serves as a place for a relaxed time and hearty meal.

  1. Good God!! You made me go nostalgic about his. Malaysia trip has been the most memorable trip of mine. And of course the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur. I mean, you could literally feel the commercial, entertainment and business come together at that one place.
