It may not be gigantic in size, but Platinum Fashion Mall is a must-have in this list of tourist favourite malls of Bangkok. A wholesale heaven, people all around the world flock to Platinum for great bargains, especially if you’re the type that buys in bulk.

This mall is focused solely on wholesale fashion and accessories. With over 2200 different shops available, the mall is located strategically in the centre of Pratunam, easily accessible through modes of public transportations.

Dubbed as Thailand’s largest wholesale and retail shopping destination, the mall comes sprawling with cafes, restaurants and a large food court. Despite being a wholesale mall, you would be glad to know that it is air conditioned and modern. When it comes to Platinum, one essential skill is needed; haggling. It is only through haggling that shoppers get the best deals and things are usually bought in larger quantities.

    Wow!! This was like refreshing my memories. I had been to Bangkok last year and I did visit MBK mall. You rightly said that it is impossible to visit Bangkok without dropping by this amazing 8 storey mall.
